Cute story

We had our primary elections yesterday.

I took Joshua with me to vote. They had brand new computerized machines, which intrigued him. He wanted to try them out. So I let him enter all of my votes. Suddenly, right in the middle of it, he stopped and got this horrified look on his face. In a loud whisper he exclaimed, "Are you sure this is legal??? I'm not 18 yet!!!"

Everyone in the room had a good chuckle at that.

Kiki, i can totally relate. During the last Presidential election I took Zach with me. I wasn't going to at first but since his school was being used as a pooling place there were people outside his school protesting abortions, calling John Kerry a baby killer. So after explaining to my 7 year old son what an abortion was, I explained to him why I was voting for Bush & I let him go to the poles w/ me. After our long talk I, I let him push the red button at the end wich actually confirms my vote. Well after all that was done, I happened to mention it to some poeple how Zach helped me vote by pushing the button & I got the same thing! I was told it wasn't legal, I thought it was pretty funny though. Anyway, sorry for the long story, just had to let you know that we've been there. share the story w/ Josh & tell him we miss him!
