I am SO thankful that they had the early game so I could watch it! I almost felt sorry for the Denver secondary---Big Ben sliced them with a surgeon's precision. Of course, the REAL reason the Steelers made the Super Bowl this year was that excellent free agent pickup, Cedrick Wilson (you know I had to put in a plug for my UT Vol).
It should be a good game. Both the Steelers and the Seahawks appeared to be at the top of their games. The whole city of Pittsburgh should be going nuts!
Woo-Hoo!!!!!! God bless the Steelers!! I've waited my whole life to see the Steelers win the super bowl and it looks like they'll do it the year I finally decided to leave the burgh. :( Miss you Kiki-. I promise I WILL NOT become a UT fan.
Even though the Steelers have one of my favorite ex-Longhorns, Casey Hampton, I'll be pulling for Seattle for three main reasons.
1. My son, Gabriel, was born in Seattle
2. He cheers for the best animal mascot and a Steeler doesn't count.
3. As a born and raised Cowboy fan, any attempt to cheer for the Steelers would cause an immediate implosion.
In their favor, my father-in-law worked in a Chicago area steel mill for over 20 years.

Kelly,
It would take the fun out of our friendly rivalry if we ever pulled for the same team. : )
Kevin,
If you're planning to root for Seattle, I hope you can take the heat after you lose! : )
Tim, Susie and Francie,
Glad to see I stil have some loyal Steeler friends.
Dan,
Pittsburghers are nuts about the Stillers anyway. Friday we saw two old ladies holding terrible towels out the window of their car, honking and screaming at the top of their lungs.
Go LA Rams!
Oh, crud. My hometeam left town about 15 years ago. I pulled for Arizona last year only because Kurt Warner was the QB.
Super Bowl? Gotta go with the Western team: Seattle.
Kiki,
Have you recovered from that "other" team's Victory yet?
